黃笑雯博士從小熱愛繪畫和音樂。她常陶醉於上主創造中的美，特別欣賞人性裏面的真善美及渴慕上主的心。並且選擇了繪畫出心靈所體驗的，而不是肉眼所見的影像。她現在以繪畫、個人靈修指導、靜修營、工作坊、藝術及音樂，專注默觀靈修培育。
黃博士畢業於加拿大溫沙大學，獲音樂學士(榮譽)學位，回港後在中學任教音樂，其後在香港中國神學研究院完成基督教研究碩士課程，並完成澳洲芬達斯大學資優教育研究文憑，道風山基督教叢林靈修指導高級文憑及美國神學研究協會教牧學博士主修靈修指導。自2002年一直至今為學校、教會及教牧同工從事心靈及默觀靈修培育，指導個人靈修、帶領靜修、靈修工作坊、婦女身心靈默觀靈修培育及藝術默觀靈修證書課程。曾擔任中國神學研究院婦女生命更新課程靈修講師及在電台主持心靈綠洲靈修節目。現任道風山基督教叢林靈修導師及多份基督教報刊專欄作者。著有《心繪誦—默然等待》，並獲2021年靈修讀物金書獎。
Dr. Susan Wong is an art lover since childhood. She is fascinated by the beauty of God’s creation, especially the inner beauty of man and the yearning for God expressed in paintings and music. Instead of painting what meets the eye, she prefers to paint what is experienced in the depths of the soul. She now focuses on contemplative painting, leading retreats and workshops on Christian contemplation.
Susan graduated from the University of Windsor in Canada as Bachelor of Music. She then acquired her master in Christian studies from CGST, Hong Kong and Doctoral of ministry in Spiritual Direction from the Graduate Theological Foundation in the US. From 2002 until the present, she has been serving in schools, churches, and seminary and retreat houses. She has once led meditation program for the Metro Radio station. She is now a spiritual director at Tao Fong Shan Christian Centre, Hong Kong and Columnist of several Christian Journals. Her published work “Painting with Psalms: Be Still” won the 2021 contemplative art album award.

《美善之境：「我如此信、如此活着！」》這本默觀靈修畫冊嘗試以繪畫和音樂表達信仰，藝術所表達的真善美能超越言語、理性分析、個人執着、種族和宗教界限。耶穌說我的信能讓我得到拯救！這樣的拯救不再只是罪得赦免，獲得天堂的入門券那麼的簡單和功利，而是生命裏的災病得到治癒，心靈裏面的疾病、黑暗、那些波動的情緒、自我否定、偏情、依附、失衡、迷失、分心走意、沉溺⋯⋯都漸漸地被治癒！救恩是回歸生命原初被造的模樣，是一種身心靈充滿動態的成長旅程。心靈漸漸被淨化得清明如鏡，能夠反照出造物主的真、善、美形象，再次擁有一種整全的人性。

This Contemplative Art Album “Into the Land of Beauty -My Faith My Fate” is an expression of my personal faith through art and music. Through art, the truth, goodness and beauty of life can be expressed beyond language, rational analysis, personal attachment, as well as ethnic and religious boundaries. Jesus once said that my faith has saved me. The salvation Christ offered through faith goes beyond forgiveness of sin, nor is it only a ticket to heaven. That includes the power of healing in life. This salvation enters the deepest of the soul, heals the sickness, the darkness, emotions, self-denial, lamentation, attachments, loss of identity and balance, distractions of thoughts, indulgence etc. Salvation leads us back to the original image when life was first created. It is an adventure for body and mind. In the process, the heart is gradually purified to be as clear as a mirror to reflect the truth, goodness and beauty of the Creator. Salvation therefore recovers the wholeness of our humanity and returns us to the life that God intended for us.
It is my sincere prayer that readers will enter into contemplation through each painting of The Apostles’ Creed and be guided by the Lord into a deeper faith. Let your body, mind and spirit enter into the stillness and presence of God so that you may experience love, compassion, rest and peace. On this journey of home coming to where everything was first created, let your spirit be filled with the perfect and pure love of God, that will nurture us and lead us into a life of complete trust.
The other part of this album is the “Pictorial Journal”. This part has detailed instructions to teach readers how to gain spiritual enlightenment from each portrait and transcend to the beautiful realm of harmony and harmony between God and man.
