本社繼承廣學會的優良傳統，是超宗派的基督教出版機構。全體執行委員及社內同工均來自不同教會，本著基督的精神，謹守「廣傳福音」及「推進學術」的兩大出版路向，為普世華人教會及社會，在文字工作上作出貢獻。本社出版書籍現已超過一千餘種，包括聖詩、靈修、研經、神學、輔導、文學、青少年讀物、兒童故事、中小學歌集、詩班及合唱團用曲集、幼稚園課本、中小學聖經教材等。每年計畫出版新書及再版書籍達數十種。

CCLC followed the mission set forth by the Christian Literature Society to work in an interdenominational manner. Members of the Executive and Publication Committees are invited from different churches to help spread the gospel in the society and to introduce new knowledge to all Christians at all time.

CCLC has published over one thousand titles, including hymnals, religious music, commentaries, reference books, theology, literature, books on counseling, books for children and youth, textbooks for kindergartens, Bible materials and songbooks for primary and secondary schools choral groups, as well as collections for churches and community choirs. New titles and reprints are updated and published frequently to meet the needs of the market.
